Facilities Electrical Engineer - Multiple Levels

Role Overview: Lead multi-disciplinary facility electrical engineering projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and resource management. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in electrical systems such as PLCs, motors, and utilities, collaborating with contractors and internal teams to meet design specifications, codes, and performance standards. Analyze current operations, recommend improvements, and support long-term planning for infrastructure and equipment. Key Responsibilities Utility Management: Oversee infrastructure reliability, capacity, safety, and evaluate new technologies to optimize utility systems.Technical Project Management: Coordinate project phases from concept to installation, working with stakeholders to meet technical and design requirements.Budget & Contract Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and oversee contracted services to ensure compliance and quality.Maintenance & Operations Support: Develop preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot infrastructure to maximize operational efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.1-8+ years of relevant experience in electrical utility systems, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Expertise in industrial electrical systems, building/facility management, and knowledge of codes (NFPA, NEC, OSHA).Proficiency in project management, technical drawings, software tools (AutoCAD, Maximo), and system modeling (SKM).Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking abilities with customer-focused approach.
