Facilities Electrical Engineer (Multiple Levels)

Role Overview This position involves leading multi-disciplinary facility electrical engineering projects, including assessing current systems, designing, coordinating, and implementing infrastructure improvements. The role requires acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for systems such as PLCs, variable speed drives, motors, and utility infrastructure, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Key Responsibilities Manage utility reliability, capacity, and safety, including outage planning and system innovation.Develop and oversee technical projects, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers from conception to installation.Maintain budgets for capital investments and operational expenses, tracking expenditures and adjusting as needed.Coordinate contracted services, ensuring compliance with contracts, codes, and standards.Implement preventative maintenance to optimize system uptime and operational efficiency.Support facility operations through troubleshooting, risk assessment, and technical decision-making. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.1+ years of relevant experience; strong knowledge of industrial electrical utility systems, building management, and infrastructure maintenance.Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.Experience with project management, industry standards, and software such as Maximo, SKM, AutoCAD/Revit.Effective communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
