Facilities Director, HVAC

About the role

Vixxo is pivoting how we deliver facilities services. The Facilities Director, HVAC runs the new pod: a small team of trade-specialized AI-first operators, trade specialists, an embedded Service Provider Manager, an SME for trade depth, and project managers where volume demands it. This role also requires close collaboration with the HVAC Projects team.

Responsibilities

• Own HVAC performance outcomes: first-time fix rate, callback reduction, time to complete and time to arrive, PM completion rate, install and project execution partnership, customer satisfaction on HVAC, service provider NPS, and margin and rate authority.
• Own trade-level margin for HVAC across all accounts, including setting and managing service provider rates, building the spread between SP cost and customer contract pricing, and making rate-increase decisions.
• Co-manage HVAC suppliers and service providers on HVAC installs, replacements, and projects with the HVAC Projects team.
• Build and evolve AI agents and workflow tools for HVAC-specific needs.
• Lead trade-specialized AI-first operators, trade specialists, an embedded Service Provider Manager, and a technical SME.
• Coordinate across operational boundaries without creating confusion about who owns the work.
• Learn fast, adapt quickly, and do not need perfect information to move.
• Build and protect long-term SP and customer relationships through consistency and direct communication.
• Treat margin and rate posture as part of the job, not a finance team handoff.
• Understand the difference between reactive repair, major repair, replacement, install, PM, and project work in a trade and why all three must be coordinated through one trade operating model.
