Facilities Coordinator, Soft Services

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Facilities Coordinator, Soft Services to join our Facilities Department in Mobile, AL. This role focuses on managing third-party service providers for site services (soft), ensuring coordination and reporting of facilities subcontracted maintenance activities.

About the Role

You will work at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft, located at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley. Opened in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. This role strengthens Airbus’ strategy to enhance global competitiveness by meeting customer needs in the U.S. and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Manage services and projects such as cleaning, catering, and people transportation in cooperation with internal and external partners.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and needs are met by using available resources efficiently and effectively.
• Manage and improve services and suppliers to ensure delivery on time, quality, and cost.
• Oversee vendors on a daily basis; identify training needs and track performance to KPIs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews within contract guidelines.
• Collaborate with the entire Facilities Management (FM) team on all activities.
• Review, approve, and process invoicing for related activities.
• Develop and track corrective action plans regarding service delivery.
• Coordinate the upkeep of interior space.
• Perform other duties as directed by the facility manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of subcontractor management experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing and reporting subcontractor activities in a production environment.
• Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices, and technology.
• Experience coordinating workflow initiatives for soft service providers (janitorial, food service, landscaping, pest control, tenant improvement).
• Analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to develop strategic solutions.
• Strong customer service and invoice processing skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• IFMA or BOMA certification.
• Prior experience in a facility management production environment.
• Knowledge/experience in project management practices.
• Ability to read floor plans.
• Experience working with G-Suite.
