Job Summary
The Facilities Site Manager is responsible for overseeing company operations on a client site. They may oversee a whole site or a part of the site and may also oversee part of a project. The role involves ensuring all staff perform duties in a safe manner, managing, training, supervising, and motivating staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, monitoring the appearance of the premises, ordering supplies, resolving complaints, directing task completion, enforcing work standards, optimizing operations, approving timesheets, and performing annual performance appraisals.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all staff perform duties in a safe manner and take steps to protect the environment.
- Manage, train, supervise, and motivate staff, ensuring their development.
- Ensure all policies/procedures are adhered to and meet regulatory or client compliance requirements.
- Work with Quality and factory/facility operations to monitor the appearance of the premises, ensure it is kept clean and compliant, tidy, well organized, fully stocked, and fully staffed.
- Order approved supplies needed for housekeeping and/or other services provided, in line with fiscal expectations.
- Remedy complaints or difficult situations in an efficient and professional manner.
- Direct completion of assigned tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
- Enforce work standards and review/resolve work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Work efficiently with professionalism at all times and maintain high standards.
- Optimize planning, budgeting, operations, and resources to ensure maximum capability is attained.
- Approve timesheets, overtime, vacations, and perform annual employee performance appraisals.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
- Ensure that customer requirements and production standards for assigned area of responsibility are met.
Qualifications
- A 4-year college degree is preferred; certification in management is a plus.
- CIMS or other janitorial certification is preferred.
- Cleanroom Class 1, 10, 100, or 1000 (ISO Class 6) janitorial experience is a must.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
