Facilities Coordinator
Mission/Role
Mission/Role Mailroom—shipping/receiving/sorting of domestic & international packages/letters/etc., bulk mailing to stores and inter-office distribution, resolving and investigating tracking of domestic/international shipping items, removal of corrugated materials and Shred-it containment stations.
Requirements
- Possess High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Problem solving skills and aptitude to learn additional skills.
- Attention to and awareness of ergonomic issues in the workplace.
- Able to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company.
- Basic understanding of facility related systems and equipment.
- Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel and similar computer-related programs.
- Knowledge of distribution warehouse operations a plus.
- Basic understanding of SAP, UPS WorldShip®, a plus.
- May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull.
- May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components while operating machinery and exerting force or lift up to 70 pounds.
- Must be able to traverse office facilities to pick up mail.
- May be called upon to perform physical and quality checks requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify quality flaws and distinguish colors on small components.
