Facilities Carpenter
About the role
A commercial carpenter is needed to make repairs in retail stores. The position requires experience in all types of interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP. Experience with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures is also required. Applicants must be self-starter, reliable, team players, proficient with computer and smartphone skills, and adept with paperwork systems.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs in retail stores
- Work on various types of interior finishes
- Handle steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures
- Solve problems and communicate effectively with others
- Occasionally travel for work, hotel and per diem provided
- Occasionally work 24/7 on-call service
