Facilities Carpenter
About the role
A commercial carpenter is needed to make repairs in retail stores. The position requires self-starter, reliability, teamwork, computer and smartphone skills, and proficiency in handling paperwork systems. Experience in all types of interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP is necessary. Steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures are also part of the work. Commercial construction experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs in retail stores
- Handle all types of interior finishes including sheetrock, suspended ceilings, carpet, ceramic tile, and FRP
- Work with steel frame doors, door hardware, commercial casework, and store fixtures
- Problem solving and excellent people skills are essential
- Work 40 hours a week, with occasional travel, hotel, and per diem provided
- Occasional overtime and 24/7 on-call service may be required

Pay
Hourly position with competitive salary
