Facilities Associate

About the Role

This position supports the New York City FC Infrastructure & Facilities department in various capacities, including project and office work, as well as consumer-facing facility management. You will work closely with the Facility Manager and Facility Coordinator to plan, develop, and maintain the physical assets of New York City FC.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day facilities operations of the New York City FC Training Facility
• Work with external contractors to ensure upkeep and safety of the facility
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events held at the Training Facility
• Provide project management support and administration
• Support club-wide infrastructure development projects
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A passion for project management, construction, and experience in facility management preferred
• Interest or experience in facility management and/or project management
• Professionalism expected around professional sports teams
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and maintain composure under pressure
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Highly motivated with the ability to work long days and non-traditional hours
• Ability to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policy and any other applicable child safety policies
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
