Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day facility maintenance & cleaning
  • Aid in general maintenance, including painting and other light construction duties
  • Participate in installation and maintenance of furnishings as directed
  • Assist with various building projects as directed
  • Support Fire and Safety program as directed
  • Arrange for meeting setup and refreshments as needed
  • Monitor all work order requests logged through Track-it and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage complaints received by Health Center to enhance customer credibility
  • Support facilities projects on a regular basis
  • Deliver results by taking accountability and ensuring productive, efficient execution against priorities
  • Work flexible schedule when necessary
  • Support building tenants and maintain a clean, well-maintained facility
  • Provide input and feedback on future equipment selection, infrastructure allocation, and performance standards
  • Perform occasional hands-on maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and landscaping)
  • Actively recommend and participate in continuous improvement and quality activities
  • Supervise groundskeeping, maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance, and performing janitorial duties

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Flexibility over working hours essential
  • Experience in maintenance, facilities, or handy-work, preferably 3+ years
  • Knowledge in using a computer and interpreting reports
  • Ability to perform tasks independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid New York State Driver's license
