Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day facility maintenance & cleaning
- Aid in general maintenance, including painting and other light construction duties
- Participate in installation and maintenance of furnishings as directed
- Assist with various building projects as directed
- Support Fire and Safety program as directed
- Arrange for meeting setup and refreshments as needed
- Monitor all work order requests logged through Track-it and ensure timely resolution
- Manage complaints received by Health Center to enhance customer credibility
- Support facilities projects on a regular basis
- Deliver results by taking accountability and ensuring productive, efficient execution against priorities
- Work flexible schedule when necessary
- Support building tenants and maintain a clean, well-maintained facility
- Provide input and feedback on future equipment selection, infrastructure allocation, and performance standards
- Perform occasional hands-on maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and landscaping)
- Actively recommend and participate in continuous improvement and quality activities
- Supervise groundskeeping, maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance, and performing janitorial duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Flexibility over working hours essential
- Experience in maintenance, facilities, or handy-work, preferably 3+ years
- Knowledge in using a computer and interpreting reports
- Ability to perform tasks independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid New York State Driver's license
