Job Description
Parsons provides program and facilities assessment support to a DOD client worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Facilities Assessor to evaluate and monitor field assessment data, assist in developing cost estimates, and support our global facilities assessment work.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying engineering standards, practices, and techniques.
- Visually evaluate the architectural/MEP building systems, gather data, and note any deficient conditions.
- Upload gathered data into the client's CMMS system.
- Support our global facilities assessment work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or related field is preferred)
- At least 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Mechanical or electrical expertise preferred
- US Citizen with an Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required
Skills/Competencies
- Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and techniques
- A working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities
- Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb ladders
- Must be able to travel between 6% - 12% of the year based on customer needs
