Facilities Assessor

Job Description

Parsons provides program and facilities assessment support to a DOD client worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Facilities Assessor to evaluate and monitor field assessment data, assist in developing cost estimates, and support our global facilities assessment work.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying engineering standards, practices, and techniques.
• Visually evaluate the architectural/MEP building systems, gather data, and note any deficient conditions.
• Upload gathered data into the client's CMMS system.
• Support our global facilities assessment work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or related field is preferred)
• At least 12+ years of relevant work experience
• Mechanical or electrical expertise preferred
• US Citizen with an Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required

Skills/Competencies

• Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and techniques
• A working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities
• Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb ladders
• Must be able to travel between 6% - 12% of the year based on customer needs
