Fabricator / Heavy Duty Mechanic

Compensation & Schedule

25/hr+ based on experience
Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
Flexible schedule—no nights or weekends

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical aptitude, ability to use power tools
• Preferred: experience with hydraulics, light welding/fabrication, or 12V electrical (will train the right candidate)

Skills

• Install, plumb, and commission hydraulic equipment on truck bodies
• Perform light welding/fabrication mounting and fit-up of equipment & accessories
• Route hoses and wiring, perform basic 12V electrical hook ups and testing
• Read/use build sheets, drawings and spec sheets. Verify parts and configurations
• Troubleshoot hydraulic/mechanical issues and complete quality repairs
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
• Accurately document work performed

Requirements

• Work Authorization
