Fabrication Shop CDL A Driver

Job Summary

Driver is responsible for transporting material, packages, equipment and other items from the Pre‑Fab facility to project sites. Primary duties include loading vehicles, securing loads for transport, using navigation systems and delivering to the correct addresses in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintains loading, unloading and distribution of materials using forklift or other equipment.
• Reviews weekly delivery schedule and plans loads accordingly.
• Verifies all loads for accuracy and safety.
• Ensures all required documents are handed over to the job team upon delivery of materials.
• Openly communicates with management and job teams.
• Maintains cleanliness and physical condition of shipping and receiving departments, inside and out.
• Prepares fleet vehicles to be sold by removing tags and other license or branding items as directed.
• Transports company fleet vehicles to/from service and repair facilities as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A and clean driving record
• 24 years of age
• Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance, Judgment
• Warehouse/Distribution operations
• Forklift / Equipment operator
