CDL Driver & Laborer

About the role

A CDL Driver operates straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks, and other commercial motor vehicles, as well as miscellaneous equipment. Drivers haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials. While driving duties are a minor portion of the job, the majority of the role involves physically demanding laborer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles (e.g., straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks)
• Transport equipment and materials between work sites
• Perform laborer duties, including:
  • Unloading and loading materials
  • Traffic control duties
  • Other physically demanding tasks
• Lift at least 75 lbs consistently throughout the workday
• Travel throughout Western PA, OH, and WV, including overnight stays

Requirements

• Class "A" or "B" CDL license
• At least 21 years of age
• Good driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Willingness to work overtime and rain make-up days
• Ability to stay out of town overnight
• Prior driving experience is a plus
