CDL Driver & Laborer

About the role

A CDL Driver operates straight trucks, flat beds, low boy, tool truck, and other commercial motor vehicles and miscellaneous equipment. Drivers haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials. Driving duties are only a minor portion of the job—the majority is labor-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles including straight trucks, flat beds, low boy, and tool trucks
• Haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials
• Participate in laborer duties including unloading and loading materials, traffic control, and other physically demanding tasks

Requirements

• Class "A" or "B" CDL license
• At least 21 years of age
• Good driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. consistently throughout the work day
• Availability for overtime and rain make-up days
• Ability to stay out of town overnight
• Must be willing to travel throughout Western PA, OH, and WV

Qualifications

• Prior driving experience is a definite plus
