CDL Driver & Laborer

About the role

A CDL Driver operates straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks, and other commercial motor vehicles, hauling equipment between work sites and transporting work materials. While driving is a component of the role, the majority of duties are labor-related and physically demanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles (e.g., straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks)
• Transport equipment and materials between work sites
• Perform laborer duties, including:
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Traffic control
  • Other physically demanding tasks
• Lift at least 75 lbs consistently throughout the workday
• Travel extensively throughout Western PA, OH, and WV, including overnight stays

Requirements

• Class "A" or "B" CDL license
• At least 21 years of age
• Good driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Willingness to work overtime and rain make-up days
• Ability to stay out of town overnight
• Prior driving experience is a plus

Pay

Rate of pay depends on skill and experience. Paid weekly.
