About the role
A CDL Driver operates straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks, and other commercial motor vehicles, hauling equipment between work sites and transporting work materials. While driving is a component of the role, the majority of duties are labor-related and physically demanding.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (e.g., straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, tool trucks)
- Transport equipment and materials between work sites
- Perform laborer duties, including:
- Loading and unloading materials
- Traffic control
- Other physically demanding tasks
- Lift at least 75 lbs consistently throughout the workday
- Travel extensively throughout Western PA, OH, and WV, including overnight stays
Requirements
- Class "A" or "B" CDL license
- At least 21 years of age
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime and rain make-up days
- Ability to stay out of town overnight
- Prior driving experience is a plus
Pay
Rate of pay depends on skill and experience. Paid weekly.
