Fabrication Production Manager (Weekend Shift)

Job Details Description Pay Range: $81,000 - $112,000 Shift (Friday-Monday) Key Obsessions Lead Fabrication teamHire, coach, mentor, and engage Fabrication Supervisors and their teams to perform at the highest level.Relentlessly promote Aagard culture.Ensure team readiness and expertise through the implementation of relevant training and development opportunities.Ensure safe, clean, and organized work environment.Own Fabrication performance metricsEstablish and monitor department’s performance to metrics and proactively implement corrective action.Ensure adherence to schedules and timely completion of machine units.Maintain quality standards that meet documented requirements.Continuously monitor and improve production efficiencies.Proactively lead process improvementsCollaborate with the continuous improvement team to identify, communicate, and execute improvement projects.Recommend and incorporate manufacturing methods to increase productivity.Drive cost reductions in areas such as tooling, scrap, and maintenance/repairs.Monitor team performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Knowledge And Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of manufacturing management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably within fabricationSkilled in interviewing, performance management, and coachingKnowledge of lean manufacturing practicesAbility to view and understand CAD drawings and use of Aagard softwareExperience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeConfidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing, including presentation skillsStrong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detailAbility to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as needed.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. using two-person assist as needed.Ability to travel as required Benefits Offered At Aagard, we believe in investing in you—your health, your career, your financial future, and your well-being.
