Supervisor, Production (Fabrication, weekend shift)

About the role

This role involves direct supervision and coordination of crew activities, along with managing maintenance requests and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership to establish a code of conduct for crew members.
• Retrieves, assigns, and confirms work requests through the Hippo system.
• Identifies critical skills needed and establishes a method for employees to obtain those skillsets.
• Aids in maintaining an organized spare parts warehouse.
• Tracks and documents equipment downtime.
• Works with diagnosticians to assign work plans for machine downtime events.
• Maintains and promotes a safe working environment.
• Fulfills safety and quality policies.
• Maintains and ensures job sites are clean and hazard-free.
• Ensures proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Coordinates work efforts with co-workers to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical School or formal apprenticeship required.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance-related fields.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with and manage people.
• Ability to effectively communicate with crew members.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Skills

• Working knowledge of basic computer skills and software (MS Office Suite, etc).
• Working knowledge of basic Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical aptitudes.
• Working knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction work.

The pay range for this position is $77,789.00 - $105,244.00.
