Fabrication Helper

Responsibilities

• Holds tape measure and marks reference points to assist in layout
• Loads, stacks, and transports raw material and tools
• Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts
• Operates a forklift
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment

Requirements

• Possesses a mechanical aptitude
• Has basic math skills
• Able to work independently and with others
• Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Forklift operations (preferred)

Essential Physical Functions

• Lifts up to 50 lbs
• Sits or stands for up to 95 percent of work hours
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure

Pay

Pay Range: $15.71 - $23.56 per hour
