FA26-041: Assistant/Associate Professor (depending upon qualifications)
Responsibilities
Teaching in the predoctoral and postdoctoral programs.
Supporting clinical training and assessment in the application of fundamental principles of behavioral sciences to patient care, including interpersonal skills and behavioral/psychological approaches to management of dental patients, communication skills, anxiety, and pain control, etc.
Requirements
A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a behavioral science field such as psychology, psychiatry, communication studies, or social work, with expertise in behavioral health or health sciences education.
Experience integrating behavioral health principles into patient care is desirable.
An alternative qualification is a D.M.D., D.D.S. or equivalent degree with strong foundational training and interest in behavioral sciences, provided the applicant is licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois, or can meet the requirements for Illinois licensure.
Previous teaching experience and/or a record of research accomplishments through publication and external funding are desirable.
Qualifications

Pay
- Biomedical Faculty Assistant Professor: $85,000 - $95,000
- Associate Professor: $95,000 - $105,000
- Professor: $105,000 - $115,000
- Clinical Dentistry (DMD, DDS) Faculty Assistant Professor / Clinical Assistant Professor: $120,000 - $130,000
- Clinical Associate Professor: $130,000 - $140,000
- Clinical Professor: $140,000 - $150,000
