F99911 Assistant Professor of English
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load of undergraduate courses including general literature and world literature courses, general education courses supporting the Humanities minor, and GE requirements. Graduate courses may be part of the faculty load as well depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
The position may share some course load with American Studies, the Humanities minor, and possibly other programs depending on qualifications with previous experience in those or related fields strongly preferred.
Requirements
- PhD in hand in English or Comparative Literature
- Experience in teaching and mentorship preferred

- Strong publication record or experience with service preferred qualifications

About the Role
Northeastern State University is a teaching intensive institution. While the position's primary focus will be in the classroom, experience with service and/or a strong publication record are preferred qualifications.
