F135 Finance Manager PFS (Onsite)

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, is seeking a Military Engines Finance Manager to support the F135 Development Program within the ME F135 Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization. This onsite opportunity is based at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Change Agent and Business Advisor regarding financial performance of Development Contracts, driving proactive involvement in program financial performance to deliver results.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables involving Sales, Margin, and Cash, including variance analysis to ensure complete, accurate, and reliable financial outcomes.
• Analyze contract requirements and financial implications to identify risks and opportunities, collaborating with organizational resources until opportunities are realized or risks mitigated.
• Act as a steward of Program resources and assets, ensuring results are achieved ethically and compliantly with Contract terms, RTX, Pratt & Whitney, and ME policies.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial data from the U.S. Government, FP&A, Internal/External Audit, RTX, and other company stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Proactively leverage tools, technology, and process improvements to support F135 Program Management Office (PMO) and F135 Finance (PFS) deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an Advanced degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to access restrictions on certain systems/tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Experience with financial analysis and working within a financial organization.
• Proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, WebEV, Power Query/BI, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream, ODM, and Microsoft Office Products.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range reflects all experience levels, and RTX considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
