Responsibilities
- Communicate with guests, servers, and management to provide extraordinary service.
- Buss and reset tables.
- Perform designated side work as assigned and requested by management.
- Comply with food handling standards.
- Understand and execute Bob’s service standards.
- Be “TIPS” certified.
- Perform opening and closing side work, including folding napkins, wiping and filling salt & pepper shakers, prep butter, prep pickles, fill oil & vinegar bottles, stock sugar caddies, sweep and/or vacuum floors, restock waiter station, place and light candles, set them on tables, stock all tablecloths and napkins, attend mandatory pre-shift meeting, and complete any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene; be ready to work and on time.
- Ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests, maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
- Be friendly and helpful with all guests, referring to them by name whenever possible.
- Polish and stock all silverware, flatware, and glasses for the restaurant, bar, and the cooking line.
- Assist servers in bussing tables.
- Assist servers in bringing soiled dishes, glassware, and utensils to the dishwashing station in the kitchen and separate them in the appropriate manner.
- Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables when guests leave.
- Empty trash receptacles behind the bar, service stations, and bussing stations.
- Empty dirty linen behind the bar, service stations, and bussing stations.
- Refill ice bins behind the bar and before and during service.
- Restock and supply refrigerators.
- Bring tablecloths & napkins to be folded during slow times.
- Help fold napkins during slow times.
- Bring up coffee, tea, and sugar products to be restocked at the coffee station.
- Aid in the cleaning of the restaurant, such as wiping down shelves, cleaning low-boy fridges, breaking down coffee stations.
- Complete any other duties required by management.
- Remain in the designated work area during shift.
Requirements
- Previous Micros experience preferred.
- Able to carry up to 30 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
