Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate food and beverage activities.
- Maintain established operational standards.
- Effectively lead the team.
- Continually follow up to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate standards.
- Ensure tools and equipment are operating properly.
- Aid in the selection, development, leadership, and retention of talented food and beverage staff.
- Aid in ensuring that financial targets are being met, and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently.
- Maintain excellent guest service from food and beverage staff.
- Maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience in a food and beverage role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
- Experience supervising others and leading a team.
- Excellent customer skills.
Working Conditions
- Will often be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- May step in and support in key positions as needed during shoulder seasons.
