Key Responsibilities
- Absenteeism and turnover reduction
- Maintaining revenue and payroll budgets
- Maintaining department performance against budget
- Maintaining quality consistently high
- Maintaining competitive and profitable operations
- Informing leadership of F&B issues
- Informing supervisor of problems requiring attention
- Coordinating and monitoring Loss Prevention
- Preparing and submitting reports
- Organizing and conducting department meetings
- Maintaining quality of service and product
- Cooperating in menu planning and preparation
- Ensuring timely purchase of F&B items
- Overseeing employee cafeteria operations
- Ensuring compliance with local liquor laws and health regulations
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Training department heads on SOPs, report preparation, and technical job tasks
- Interviewing candidates for front-of-house F&B positions
- Attending required meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in hospitality field
- Prioritized education: Preferred 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience
