About the role
HII Mission Technologies Corp. (HII MTC) is seeking a mid-level F-35 Program Management professional to support the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (F-35 JPO) Maintenance Program Management Office (MxS PMO) in Arlington, Virginia. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in DoD acquisition, familiarity with F-35 JPO processes, and a strong background in managing and tracking financial execution activities, including Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), in support of MxS PMO contract and funding actions.
Responsibilities
- Mature and maintain Acquisition Dashboard: Update the Procurement Management Tool (PMT) and Acquisition, Budget and Contracts (ABC) Dashboard notes sections of Acquisition Dashboard – weekly.
- Document Acquisition Management Contract Actions Data.
- Review MxS PMO Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) in PMT and compare to Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCaRs) data using ABC Dashboard.
- Review MxS PMO PIDs with Appropriation Leads, Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) team, Budget and Financial Management (BFM) team (bi-weekly, each Wednesday and at AQM staff meeting on off weeks).
- Facilitate presentation of MxS PMO PIDs and ABC Dashboard to MxS Program Manager (PM) at Execution Review (monthly, 2nd Thursday).
- Update PID data as data sets change (review for need, daily update as required).
- Update PID completion of required data sets and record PIDs to "awarded" (as required).
- Create or support creation of new PIDs in PMT (as required / requirements validated) in support of approved Fiscal Year Spend Plan and required contract actions.
- Provide training on PMT, ABC Dashboard and Procurement Planning Process to MxS PMO personnel (as needed / directed).
- Provide guest instructor to Directorate of Acquisition and Affordability (DA&A) for support of Program Management 101 (PM101) Curriculum, as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DoD acquisition, program management, contracting, or financial execution.
- Experience supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office or another major DoD acquisition program.
- Demonstrated understanding of Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs), MIPRs, and contract/funding execution processes.
- Experience monitoring and managing acquisition or financial data within government systems/tools.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functional teams (PCO, BFM, appropriation leads, program managers).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel or data-management dashboards.
- Experience/background in DoD Acquisition.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to prepare documents and brief senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience leading a diverse team and ability to delegate and provide consistent expectations of team.
- An active Secret security clearance or higher is required (at the time of application and consideration).
Qualifications
- Mgr Project Management I: 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
- Mgr Project Management II: 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods while working at a computer.
- 10-20% travel to customer sites.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in virtual meetings, briefings, and secure collaboration environments.
- Must maintain a Hybrid home work environment that meets company and government security requirements (e.g., controlled space for handling sensitive or FOUO information, if applicable).
Pay
Anticipated salary range: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00.
