EY SAP Technology Presales Architect

About the role

As an EY SAP Technology Presales, you will directly assist EY and clients in creating efficient, optimized, and precise pursuit proposals that leverage EY's technology assets and capabilities to transform and manage their businesses. Your responsibilities include interacting with clients to gather requirements, translating these into solutions that meet client objectives, leading the technology aspect of pursuit teams, and providing technical guidance and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Harvest requirements from clients and translate them into solutions meeting client objectives. Lead the technology aspect of pursuit teams.
• Pursuit Shaping: Provide thought leadership, define solutions, and design pursuit responses, addressing identified technology gaps and ensuring alignment with EY's SAP delivery and technology capabilities.
• Technology Presales Development: Work with internal stakeholders to develop pursuit standards, guidelines, and procedures, enhancing the success rate of client pursuits.
• Presales / Pursuit Architecture & Solutioning: Create end-to-end solution architectures, aligning with EA and IT roadmaps, and provide actionable recommendations in the form of underpinned solutions.
• Address Identified Technology Gaps: Identify and address technology gaps through established channels, proposing innovative and creative mitigation plans.
• Ensure Proper Pursuit Architecture: Document pursuit and deal architecture and technology roadmaps, ensuring compliance with standards and reference models.
• Collaborate with Technology Product Teams: Influence product backlogs and priorities based on presales/pursuit engagements, contributing to the development of the Presales community.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

• Thought leadership in technology presales and pursuit development.
• Deep understanding of SAP technology and EY's SAP offerings.
• Expertise in creating and delivering compelling RFP responses and client presentations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interact with a global audience and develop strategic customer relationships.
• Technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in large-scale multi-technology, data, and analytics deals.
• Knowledge of service management frameworks, particularly ITIL.

Qualifications

• Industry-specific solutions and products knowledge.
• Strong technical background, preferably in deal development, architecture, and strategy.
• Experience in large-scale multi-technology, data, and analytics deals.
• Technical expertise in applications, infrastructure, digital, and security.
• Experience in solution writing, client presentations, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Leadership and negotiation skills.
• Experience in offshore/onsite working models and managing diverse geographies and cultures.
• Desirable certifications in TOGAF, IASA, or Agile Delivery and DevOps.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of technology, business development, and thought leadership experience.

At EY, you'll benefit from a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including competitive base salaries ranging from $138,200 to $266,000, depending on location. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension plans, and a flexible vacation policy. EY also offers a range of paid time off options, including holidays, personal/family care days, and other leaves of absence.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $138,200 to $266,000. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $165,800 to $302,300.
