EY SAP Technology Presales Architect
About the role
As an EY SAP Technology Presales, you will directly assist EY and clients in creating efficient, optimized, and precise pursuit proposals that leverage EY's technology assets and capabilities to transform and manage their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Harvest requirements from clients and translate them into a solution that aligns with the objectives and principles agreed upon. Lead the technology aspect of the pursuit team.
- Pursuit Shaping: Provide guidance for solution and pursuit definition, serve as presales thought leader, ascertain technical delivery possibilities and costs, and address identified technology gaps.
- Technology Presales Development: Work with internal stakeholders to envision, design, and develop pursuit designs and responses, ensuring alignment with EY's SAP delivery and technology capabilities.
- Presales / Pursuit Architecture & Solutioning: Provide thought leadership during deal development, pursue, and close phases, establish Presales standards, and document pursuit and deal architectures.
- Technology Gap Mitigation: Address identified technology gaps through established channels and develop innovative, creative mitigation plans/solutions.
- Cost Reduction & Efficiency: Identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency through strong technical expertise and working knowledge of EY's technical and business architecture.
Qualifications
- Knowledge on industry solutions/products
- Strong tech background in deal development, architecture, and strategy
- Experience with large-scale multi-technology, data, and analytics deals
- Technology all-round expertise in applications, infrastructure, digital, and security
- Technical/architecture experience in applications, integration, and data
- Expertise in solution writing and client presentations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to interact with a global audience and gain trust through technical leadership
- Ability to identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Awareness of portfolio management principles and tools
- Organized and methodical with a taste for detail
- Leadership and negotiating skills
- Experience in offshore/onsite working models and working with different geographies and cultures
- Certifications in Agile Delivery and DevOps (desirable)
- Architectural training/certifications like TOGAF or IASA (desirable)
- Knowledge of service management frameworks, especially ITIL (desirable)

Benefits
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package including medical and dental coverage, pension, and 401(k) plans, and flexible vacation policies. Regular international and domestic travel may be required.
Pay
The base salary range for this role in the US is $138,200 to $266,000, with a higher range for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).
Schedule
Hybrid model with most people in external, client-serving roles expected to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
