Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub-service line, the Deal Technology practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for transactions
- Manage and execute IT focused projects across sectors
- Develop experience in different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking)
- Work in complex business environments and synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts
- Lead and manage in complex business environments
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Lead and manage in complex business environments
- Identify and advise on ideas and sources of value enhancement
- Advising on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
- Significant management consulting experience
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments
- Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the following IT skillsets:
- IT strategy
- Enterprise architecture
- Infrastructure and cloud architecture
- Cyber and IAM architecture
- Digital Technology Strategy
- Digital IT operating model transformation
- IT cost reduction
- IT security / cyber
- IT shared services
- IT organization transformation
- ERP implementation
- Digital business enablement using digital technology enablers (i.e., advanced analytics, robotic process automation, virtual reality)
- Cloud SaaS or PaaS (including Collaboration) strategy and delivery
- Cloud IaaS or Data Center migration planning and execution
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Active Directory services strategy
- IT service management
- Operations Center (e.g., NOC, SOC) or Managed Service Provider
- IT TSA development
- IT finance management
- IT infrastructure management
- IT outsourcing / offshoring
- IT contract management
- IT or Cyber Diligence
- IT synergy identification
- Data governance, separation, and transition
- Integration and Separation Planning
- Experience with and demonstrated success in at least one key business process such as procurement to pay, record to report, order to cash, plan to make, hire to retire
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired
Qualifications
- Proven record of excellence in an IT transactions role
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
