About the role

EY Parthenon - Deals - Transaction Analytics (Manager) positions are available. This role involves providing data analytics-driven solutions to enhance client decision-making, including financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side activities. The role also entails producing financial and market intelligence, devising methods for identifying data patterns and trends, analyzing large datasets, and presenting findings to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data analytics-driven solutions to enhance client decision-making, including financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side activities.
  • Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports.
  • Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets and build sophisticated transaction-driven analysis to help address client challenges in fast-changing markets.
  • Present findings to clients and leadership in a way that is easily understood by transaction professionals at all levels.
  • Use data to solve complex challenges.
  • Research industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide knowledge and insight to clients.
  • Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Monitor progress and consistently deliver quality client services.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
  • Cultivate business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
  • Alternatively, Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
  • 3 years of experience leveraging accounting skills, of which 1 year must be in a mergers and acquisition-oriented environment.
  • 3 years of combined experience analysing data for financial due diligence and/or audit.
  • 3 years of experience working with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, or other software to perform data analysis intelligence and reporting functions.
  • 3 years of experience with one or a combination of the following: Data visualization, Data Management, Analytics Platforms, Statistical Packages, and Programming languages.
  • Requires domestic travel up to 50% in order to serve client needs.

Must have the ability to leverage accounting skills, experience in mergers and acquisitions, and data analysis experience. Must have experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, or other software to perform data analysis intelligence and reporting functions. Must have experience with data visualization, data management, analytics platforms, statistical packages, and programming languages.

The base salary for this job is $150,228.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Pay

$150,228.00 per year

Schedule

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
