About the role
EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Financial Services practice advises CEOs, Boards, Private Equity and Governments on complex deals. As a Director, you will work with many of the world's largest financial services organizations and private equity funds.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical financial data.
- Identify key trends behind the performance of a business.
- Discuss business performance and forecast assumptions with senior management.
- Write reports setting out findings and recommendations around key financial and business issues.
- Coach and develop staff and senior associates.
- Identify innovative ways to utilize global delivery services and new technologies.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
- Experience leading and managing others.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate large, complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand key internal and external stakeholders' requests and deliver responsive and insightful analysis.
- Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in roles providing financial due diligence or other related services to financial services and private equity clients.
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization or significant public accounting experience.
- Experience in building and/or reviewing workflows and dashboards in Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau or other analytic tools.
- Knowledge of leveraging firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120,400 to $220,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $144,500 to $250,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
