About the role

EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Financial Services practice offers comprehensive financial due diligence services to clients in the financial services sector. This role involves advising clients on key financial and business issues in transactions, analyzing historical financial data, and identifying financial risks.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical financial data and identify key trends.
  • Discuss business performance and forecast assumptions with senior management.
  • Write reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Coach and develop staff and senior associates.
  • Identify innovative ways to utilize global delivery services and new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience in financial due diligence or similar role.
  • Experience leading and managing others.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to new challenges.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills

  • Knowledge of quality of earnings, net assets, and cash flows.
  • Researching industry trends and new technologies.
  • Understanding key internal and external stakeholder requests.
  • Leveraging firm-approved AI tools in a business setting.
  • Building and reviewing workflows and dashboards in Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytic tools.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $120,400 to $220,700. For New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $144,500 to $250,900.

Schedule

Most people in external, client-serving roles are expected to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Flexible vacation policy and various paid time off options are available.
