About the role

EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence – Financial Services practice offers comprehensive financial due diligence services to clients in the financial services sector. This role involves working with clients on both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects, focusing on analyzing historical financial data, identifying key trends, and advising on financial risks and purchase prices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical financial data and identify key trends.
• Discuss business performance and forecast assumptions with senior management.
• Write reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Coach and develop staff and senior associates.
• Identify innovative ways to utilize global delivery services and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related work experience or a graduate degree and 4+ years of related work experience.
• Experience leading and managing others.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of key internal and external stakeholders' requests.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial due diligence or related services to financial services and private equity clients.
• Experience in building and reviewing workflows and dashboards in Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of leveraging firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Established networking skills in relevant industries.

Skills

• Working with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors, and Senior Directors.
• Analyzing financial and operational results of potential business acquisitions or divestitures.
• Identifying financial factors affecting the purchase price and deal structure.
• Demonstrating knowledge of quality of earnings, net assets, and cash flows.
• Researching industry trends and new technologies.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $120,400 to $220,700 in all geographic locations in the US, and $144,500 to $250,900 in the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).

Schedule

The role requires flexibility and the ability to work in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year, with the option to work remotely and take advantage of a flexible vacation policy.
