To assist extrusion operators in performing job duties safely and correctly.

Administer and maintain safety policies and standards.
Ensure first quality for all processes.
Perform and maintain required line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct.
Be familiar with current schedule and prepare for/perform product changeovers.
Able to work any shift; and able to work overtime on short notice.
Fill in for extrusion operators.
Ensure all operators have necessary tools and supplies.
Report and remove all waste and odd lot from work centers.
Train and coach job specifics to extrusion operators.
Willingness to become proficient with computer programs such as SAP, & Microsoft Office Suite.
Complete production reports.
Communicate with oncoming/outgoing shift’s Extrusion Technical Coordinator, will require arrival at work center 15 minutes prior to start of shift.
Other duties as instructed by Supervisor, or Production Team Lead.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and write.
Must have and maintain a good attendance and safety record.
Display and exhibit leadership abilities.
Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs.
Able to prioritize daily tasks in accordance with schedule needs.
