Extrusion Associate 1 - 2nd shift

About the role
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. This position involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, including heavy lifting and detailed handwork. The role is entry-level and requires performing repetitive tasks on an assembly line under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assemble building material components, including insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, and fitting parts.
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble window components.
- Observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or co-workers.
- Stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a twelve-hour shift.
- Cross-train in multiple functions within and between department lines.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and 40 lbs. occasionally for light production; 40 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally for heavy production.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay
$16.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
