Extruder Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extruder machines to produce plastic products according to specifications
• Monitor the extrusion process, making adjustments as needed to ensure product quality
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and materials to detect any issues
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies throughout the production process

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics manufacturing preferred
• Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or similar role in the plastics industry
• A strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• An attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• A willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed

Schedule

This position has a schedule of 4-10 hours shifts, Monday through Thursday. Shift A - 7:00am to 5:00pm; Shift B - 5:00pm to 3:00am.
