Bindery Machine Operator

In this role you will be responsible for efficiently operating bindery machinery as well as careful maintenance and record-keeping. Bindery Operator Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate bindery equipment such as four-station inserters, labeling machines, programmed paper cutters, folders, perforators, shrink wrap machines, and three-spindle drillsPerform regular equipment maintenance as well as replacing blades and drill bitsVerify completed job orders to ensure all standards are metKeep careful records of job orders Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Rate: $17.50-$18.50/hourly Bindery Operator Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent in experienceExperience in a corporate or commercial bindery environment is helpfulExcellent communication skillsDetail oriented with excellent time management and collaboration skillsProficient with standard office equipmentAble to responsibly handle confidential information Work Environment The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines and fumes. Physical Demands The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
