Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during extended-day activities, ensuring a safe and fun environment
- Plan and implement various engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and educational projects
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff, creating a sense of community
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's day and any concerns
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in early childhood education preferred
- 1-2 years of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with children and families
- Demonstrated ability to foster a nurturing and positive environment
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of children and the program
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
