About the role

The Express Service Consultant will deliver and install MSX Express Service prescribed solutions. The Consultant will develop and maintain direct relationships with assigned dealers and OEM field organizations, assist with Dealer Launch Meetings, and support Dealer Workshop Meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Install the Basic and/or Advanced Express Service program as outlined in MSX Express Service program documentation
  • Conduct Dealer Basic and/or Advanced Consultations and Sustainment visits per program documentation
  • Train dealership staff as outlined in MSX Express Service program documentation
  • Provide dealership phone follow-up support
  • Complete dealer action plans in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Implement best practice processes within the Express Service operation (customer appointment, reception/greeting, workshop scheduling, repair processes, productivity and efficiency, quality control, invoice preparation, vehicle delivery, follow-up call after repair, etc.)
  • Maintain adequate contact with OEM National and Regional personnel
  • Submit monthly field detail reports
  • Submit weekly time cards and expense reports
  • Travel 80% of the time

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Excel
  • Ability to leverage relationships to identify and sell the business case for change
  • Analyze data from dealer financials and operational assessments to establish improvement action plans
  • Implement service advisor selling systems and process improvement solutions at the aftermarket or retail level
  • Understand, establish, and implement effective metrics to keep dealerships focused on growth and ROI
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications in a Windows environment
  • Train and utilize all aspects of Automotive Tire Sales and automotive service sales
  • Influence sales personnel and technicians in training processes and monitor results
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent customer relationship, communication, and facilitation skills
  • High degree of interest in working in a field environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 7–10 years of Aftermarket Experience (e.g., Jiffy Lube, Valvoline, Fast Oil Change)
  • Retail Tire Store Management experience (Store Manager, Service Manager, Service Writer) preferred
  • OEM dealer contact experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay

The wage range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience and other factors such as skill sets, training, and organizational needs.
