Express Lube Advisor

Onsite position in San Antonio, TX. Must have open availability, including Saturdays. Reports to the Service Manager.

About the role

As the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician, you’ll ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service or repairs.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs, verifying warranty and service contract coverage.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approval signatures, and enter RO into the service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Maintain customer records and keep customers informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses.

Requirements

• Previous Service Advisor experience.
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
