Export Processor

About the role

Ashland Inc. is seeking an Export Processor to join their business. This role is visible and significant within the Company and the global logistics function. The position reports to the International Logistics Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipments between North America and partners in assigned regions
• Back up for export processors & logistics personnel as needed
• Help monitor, manage & communicate shipments/errors (P44) & date management
• Monitor IMOs for accuracy
• Develop and administer necessary documentation to facilitate shipping and customs clearance, globally
• Track and monitor spreadsheets for delays and issues
• Work with Ashland's planning, manufacturing and commercial teams to solve problems and meet business requirements
• Work collaboratively with forwarders, brokers, carriers, warehouses and other service providers to meet requirements of international customers
• Help overseas colleagues understand the shipping environment and solve specific problems

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and TMS platforms
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Hands on experience using SAP in a global enterprise
• Experience in the chemical industry strongly preferred
• Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety
