About the role

We’re looking for a full-time Explosives Operator to join our team in Parsons, Kansas. This role involves operating and monitoring explosive melt systems to support ammunition production.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a computer interface, loss-in-weight feeder, and thermocouple thermometer for melts using kettles (5 gal., 50 gal., and 250 gal.).
  • Activate and monitor systems associated with the Explosive Melt System for all types of explosives.
  • Ensure explosives are ready for each pour at the start and end of each day.
  • Comply with operation-approved standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-system checks and clean up as required on all floors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience operating and monitoring production equipment.
  • Forklift license preferred.

Pay

$23.58 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM (60 hours per week).
