About the role

This position works a 2-2-3 schedule on the night shift from 5pm-5am, with great overtime pay opportunities that may include double and triple time.

Pay

Starting pay is $30.44 per hour, with an additional $1.25 per hour for night shift. During the first 90 days (probationary period), the rate is 80% of the starting pay ($24.35 per hour).

Responsibilities

  • Follow plant safety rules (LOTO procedures, PPE, etc.) and report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Adhere to factory safety & environmental objectives & targets.
  • Follow factory food safety and quality objectives & targets.
  • Comply with Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Nestlé Quality Management System for all related procedures and programs.
  • Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated in the Quality Management System, on-the-job training, and standard operating procedures.
  • Apply principles of continuous improvement in the work area.
  • Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Consistently reliable attendance.
  • Willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule.

Skills

  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills & ability to multi-task.
  • Computer skills acquired through work experience.
  • Improvement mindset.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
