Location: Newberry, SC

Pay

Starting pay: $18.80 - $23.70/hr with annual increases.

Schedule

  • First shift – can start as early as 4:00am (Monday-Friday)
  • Second shift – as early as 2pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Third shift – as early as 10pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Overtime work as required

Responsibilities

  • Fill in for various line positions in the Ready to Eat (RTE) or Raw area under the direction of the Team Lead
  • Plan and manage tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) after completing required certification courses
  • Perform tasks at line speeds while maintaining quality and cost standards
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of others

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand process instructions
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing work experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive actions involving frequent bending and stooping
  • Able to lift up to fifty pounds
  • Frequent standing and walking

Working Conditions

  • Indoor work primarily on the production floor, which is wet and cold
  • Secondary locations may be occasionally wet with seasonal climate variations
  • Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, slip-resistant and steel-toed shoes, ear protection
