Experienced Veterinary Receptionist
Corfu Veterinary Clinic is located in a residential country setting approximately 20 minutes east of Buffalo. Our clients come from near and far to receive quality medicine with a personal touch, and we find this very rewarding. We go above and beyond to facilitate the needs of our clients and their pets while they visit our animal clinic in Corfu. We offer easy-access parking, a handicap ramp, and assistance with transferring pets into or out of our building. Added conveniences include a large, clean dog-walking area and separate entry and exit doors. At Corfu Veterinary Clinic, we strive to maintain a home-like feel while providing the best in veterinary care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- Greet and welcome clients and patients
- Answer questions and triage client concerns
- Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Check in and check out clients and process payments
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
- Withstand unpleasant odors, noises, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases

Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years veterinary or medical receptionist experience (required)
- Bubbly, positive, and welcoming personality to create a great experience for clients and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay calm in stressful situations
- Highly organized with strong computer skills
- Self-starter with a desire to continue advancing your knowledge and skill set

Pay
Starting at $16.00/hr, with increases based on experience.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
