Duties

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles and various types of equipment.
• Test drive all vehicles repaired.
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Oil changes, brakes, suspensions & other mechanical work.
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Assess tread levels and valve quality on tires & check wear patterns.
• Mounts/demounts tires.
• Ensures conformance to industry standards.
• Examines and repairs tires; Performs preventative maintenance; and responds to emergency road calls as needed.
• Performs vehicle alignments

Requirements

• Must meet or exceed standards set by the industry recognized trade organizations.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have some or limited training in automotive repair, with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further in this area.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Entry level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications.
