About the role
We’re looking for an Experienced Tire Tech. Are you a hard-working, self-motivated team player always willing to learn?
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles and various types of equipment
- Test drive all vehicles repaired
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Perform oil changes, brakes, suspensions and other mechanical work
- Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Assess tread levels and valve quality on tires; check wear patterns
- Mount and demount tires
- Ensure conformance to industry standards
- Examine and repair tires; perform preventative maintenance; respond to emergency road calls as needed
- Perform vehicle alignments
Requirements
- Must meet or exceed standards set by industry-recognized trade organizations
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Some or limited training in automotive repair with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further
- Valid driver’s license required
- Entry-level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications
