Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive vehicles and various types of equipment.
- Test drive all vehicles repaired.
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
- Oil changes, brakes, suspensions & other mechanical work.
- Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Assess tread levels and valve quality on tires & check wear patterns.
- Mounts/demounts tires.
- Ensures conformance to industry standards.
- Examines and repairs tires; Performs preventative maintenance; and responds to emergency road calls as needed.
- Performs vehicle alignments
Requirements
- Must meet or exceed standards set by the industry recognized trade organizations.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have some or limited training in automotive repair, with demonstrated ability and desire to learn and develop further in this area.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Entry level knowledge of computer equipment and applicable software applications.
