About the Role

A Shift Leader is the face of the restaurant during their shift, ensuring each guest has a remarkable experience while leading the team with positivity, energy, and service. This role is generally offered as a full-time or part-time restaurant position with flexible scheduling to accommodate school or other life activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant while maintaining quality and time standards.
• Coach, lead, and train team members in operational excellence and 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Respond immediately and respectfully to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires, set the tone for shifts, and act as a role model for the team.
• Open and/or close shifts as a key holder, including counting drawers and finalizing the day.
• Manage operational areas of the business, such as logistics, supply, or finance.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (English and Spanish a plus).

• Demonstrated experience leading teams and achieving results through others.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• College degree (or currently pursuing) preferred.
• Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is helpful (Chick-fil-A experience is a plus!).

Schedule

• Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available.
• Scheduling options for both days and evenings, Monday through Saturday.
• Sundays off.
