Sales & Closing

  • Conduct in-home or virtual solar consultations with qualified homeowners
  • Present customized solar proposals and energy savings projections
  • Educate homeowners on solar technology, incentives, and financing options
  • Address objections and guide customers through the purchasing decision
  • Close solar agreements and secure signed contracts

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a professional, consultative sales experience built on transparency and trust
  • Help homeowners clearly understand the financial and environmental benefits of solar
  • Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the sales process

Collaboration

  • Work closely with appointment setters, project managers, and installation teams
  • Ensure accurate information is collected for smooth project execution
  • Support Rooftop Power’s mission of delivering a seamless solar transition

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales closing roles (solar, home improvement, or in-home sales preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial and technical information in a simple way
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and performance mindset
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to appointments
  • Solar industry experience (preferred)
  • In-home sales experience (roofing, HVAC, windows, home improvement, etc.)
  • Familiarity with solar financing options and incentives
  • CRM and sales pipeline management experience
